Civil War Casualties

The following list is some of the Town of Lee Civil War soldiers who were killed in action or died during service.

Joseph H. Aucutt enlisted January 11, 1864 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died May 8, 1865 of a gunshot wound at the General Hospital at Annapolis, Maryland.

Charles Brower enlisted September 18, 1861 at Delta, Oneida, New York. He died June 9, 1862.

Lorenzo Brower enlisted August 29, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He was captured in action on May 5, 1864 at Wilderness, Virginia. He died of disease on November 26, 1864 at Florence, South Carolina.

Addison Conrad enlisted August 30, 1864 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died October 13, 1864 at City Point, Virginia of an accidental pistol wound.

William E. Cornish enlisted October 7, 1861 at Lee Center, Oneida, New York. He died April 20, 1862 of sickness at New Bern, North Carolina.

William Craver enlisted October 14, 1861 at Lee Center, Oneida, New York. He died July 27, 1864 in the field hospital of wounds received at Petersburg.

David Drake enlisted December 15, 1861 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He was killed in action June 3, 1864 at Cold Harbor, Virginia.

William Flinn enlisted August 7, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died August 20, 1863 at New Bern, North Carolina.

Byron Nisbet enlisted August 26, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died of disease on December 18, 1862 in Division Hospital near Fredericksburgh, Virginia.

Harrison Nisbet enlisted August 11, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died of disease on August 17, 1863 at New Bern, North Carolina.

William A. Orendorf enlisted January 5, 1864 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died October 22, 1864 of sickness at Salisbury, North Carolina.

Albert Potter enlisted March 18, 1864 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He was killed in action June 3, 1864 at Cold Harbor, Virginia.

George Rose enlisted December 18, 1861 in Lee Center, Oneida, New York. He died of disease in New York City, New York on February 10, 1862.

John Skinner enlisted August 26, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He was wounded May 10, 1864 at Laurel Hill, Virginia and died May 31, 1864 at Washington, DC.

Alanson Spink enlisted August 29, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He was captured in action on May 5, 1864 at Wilderness, Virginia. He died of disease at Andersonville Prison on August 6, 1864.

Charles A. Tripp enlisted September 6, 1862 at Lee, Oneida, New York. He died of typhoid fever July 8, 1863 at Frederick City, Maryland.
