Nancy Jane Bass, daughter of Burnell Bass and Jane Bass, was born in 1855. She died on 19 June 1899 at the age of 44. She was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Charlotte NC..

38	ii.	Richard Lester Turner was born on 29 January 1876. 1. Received membership on 08/23/1896 into Sharon Presbyterian Church. He died on 22 September 1897 at the age of 21. He died. 1. Richard Lester was shot and killed by William McGinn. They knew each other and was involved in a fight that escalated causing his death. William McGinn also shot Richard's father, Robert, wounding him seriously. (Information found from Charlotte Democrat, September 23, 1897). 2. On 08/23/1896, was received into membership of Sharon Presbyterian Church.
