Axsha Milslagle was born circa 1820 in Virginia.¹ She was the daughter of George Milslagel (Junior) and Axsha Cheshire.² Follow the link to see the census image. She may have been enumerated on the 1830 census for Hampshire County, Virginia in the household of her father as a female aged ten to fifteen years old.³ Follow the link to see the census image. She may have been enumerated on the 1840 census for Hampshire Co in the household of her father as a female aged fifteen to twenty years old.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. Axsha, age 29, was enumerated in the household of W.B. and Elizabeth McNamar on the 1850 Federal Census in District #24, Hampshire County, Virginia. I do not know the relationship between them.⁵ She is the great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
