Nellie Masterbrook was born say 1834.¹ Nellie and Neeltje may be the same person. There are some similarities but their information is not exact. I wonder how much of the change is the Americanization of the Dutch names and incorrect lore and research. Nellie married Ghysbert De Jongh (IV), son of Hendrick De Jongh (III) and Geertje De Vries.² Nellie and Gilbert had at least 3 children. These children are Klaartje, James and Nina.
