     Barbara Dalenberg was born on 14 July 1921 in Illinois.¹ She was the daughter of Claude J. Dalenberg and Janke Waalkes. Barbara, age 8, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1930 Federal Census at 12238 Hanord in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
