The clothing that the women of the family are wearing is called "bunad". It is an clothing that is used on occasions like weddings, baptism and 17th of May (our National day ) etc. It is a clothing that is different in in all parts of Norway. Beate and Eileen are wearing the "Hardangerbunad" and Elisabeth and Helene are wearing the "Bergensbunad". The common rule for wearing one special bunad is that you have relatives from that area.
