At 18 years old, Evelyn ("Eva") likely graduated from Shandon High School. This picture was purchased by Frances George Ertel at Aunt Eva's estate sale in December 1968, perhaps as she prepared to move into the Golden Years Nursing Home on Old Oxford Road in Hamilton, Ohio.
In the picture, Eva is in the second row, second student from right (white dress).

In 1910, thirty-five year old Evelyn married thirty-seven year old Clarence
Alfred Clawson. He was born 2 August 1873 in Ohio.
Early in their marriage, Clarence worked on the King Ranch in Dalhart, Texas.
Note: Clinton (b ca 1846) and Elizabeth Clawson (b ca 1848)
of Liberty township, Butler Co OH appeared in the 1900 census
with a son, 27 year old Clarence Clawson, a bank teller. That
Clarence turns out to be James "Clarence" Clawson, born
in 1873, (so 37 not 27 in 1910) the same year as Clarence
Alfred Clawson.

According to a post card written in 1925, the Clawsons were living in Cheboygen, MI. Clarence was on a trip, traveling from St. Jo, MO to Indianapolis.
Clarence attended his mother's 73rd birthday party on May 17, 1925 at the family farm near Okeana, OH with both parents, and 4 siblings.
