Viola Ann Vermilyer is the daughter of Mary Cummings and Charles Barnabas Vermilyer. Ollie, as she was known, was born 27 Aug 1862 in Batavia, Kane, Illinois. She died 28 Dec 1924 at age 62 in Glendale, Los Angeles, California and was buried 30 Dec 1924 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles, California.

On 5 Apr 1882, she married Marcellus Ephraim Jones in Kane County, Illinois. He is the son of Ephraim L. Jones and Lauretta. He was born about Aug 1852 in New York and died 30 Apr 1936 at age 83 in Los Angeles County, California.
