Mary Jeanette Sheldon is the Daughter of Amanda Rhodes and Andrew Jackson Sheldon. She was born 4 December 1867 in Brookfield, Linn, Missouri. She died 31 December 1911 at age 44 in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska. She is buried at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.

• On 20 September 1887, she married Warren Ellsworth Kincaid in St Francis, Cheyenne, Kansas. He is the son of George Washington Kincaid and Lavisa Lucas Steenburg. He was born 12 June 1861 in Muscatine county, Iowa.
He died about March 1943 at age 81 in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska. On 15 March 1943, he was buried at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska. Warren owned a piano store and both his daughters were musicians.
• After Mary's death, Warren married Mary's younger sister, Zyrenna Ella Sheldon on 1 March 1913 in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska. Ella, as she is known, had been living with Mary and Warren. Ella was born 19 May 1871 in Beatrice, Gage, Nebraska. She died in 1945 at age 73 in Denver, Denver, Colorado. She is buried at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.

1. Lilah Ruth Kincaid was born 23 June 1889 in Kansas. She died in April 1983 at age 93 in Denver, Denver, Colorado.
   • About 1920, she married Carl E. Hartman. He is the son of Christian Hartman and Elizabeth Knight. He was born 23 August 1886 in Springfield, Bon Homme, South Dakota. He died in March 1983 at age 96 in Denver, Denver, Colorado. Carl was a dentist. Carl and Lilah have endowed a music and performing arts scholarship at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
2. Beatrice Kincaid was born in July 1892 in Iowa.
   • On 29 June 1912, she married Walter L. Bobo in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska. This marriage only lasted 3 years, ending in divorce on 11 October 1915 in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska.
