     Annie was so concerned that her family name of Herrell would die, that she requested her grandchildren be given the name Herrell, as is done in several cases.2

     George Claborn Akers married Anna Lorene Herrell, daughter of William Richmond Herrell and Harriett Kennedy, in Caruthersville, Pemiscot County, Missouri, USA, on 7 December 1905.2,1
     Harry and Annie's Akers three deceased children are buried at the foot of William R and Harriet's graves in Old Cemetery in Braggadocio, Missouri. It's uncertain which three children this is in reference too.2
     Anna Lorene Herrell and George Claborn Akers were divorced in 1917.2
     Anna died on 6 May 1933 in Hayti, Pemiscot County, Missouri, USA, at age 52. The cause of death was appoplexy.5,2,1 She was buried on 8 May 1933 in the Little Prairie Cemetery located in Caruthersville, Pemiscot County, Missouri, USA.
