  General Notes:

John married Nancy in Methley and their first born, Ann, was born in Mickletown, Methley in 1820. He was a miner and the family moved to Ingram Place, Rothwell where the rest of John and Nancy's children were born (Eliza was recorded as being born in Thorp Hall in 1822, which was very close to Ingram Place)

In the 1841 census John and his family were still living at Ingram Place, Rothwell, Yorkshire. He was recorded as being born in Yorkshire and his occupation was recorded as a Coal Miner. With him at the time of this census were his wife Nancy and children Thomas, Benjamin, James and Mary. His daughter Ann was also with them along with her husband John Moss and child William. The family home was still in Ingram Place when John died in 1843.
