Tobias Hartranft and his wife Barbara, maiden name
(Jaeckel) Yeakle, came in 1734 to Pennsylvania, with
their children:
George.
Abraham.
Melchior.
Maria.
Rosina.
Tobias Hartranft died October 4, 1758, aged 74 years.
Barbara, wife of T. H., died February 15, 1764.
Governor John F. Hartranft is the sixth in descent
from this Tobias.
Regina (Jaeckel) Yeakle, widow of Christopher, and
sister of David and Christopher Heebner, see below,
came to Pennsylvania in 1734, with her only son,
Christopher.
R. Y. died April 4, 1753, aged 65 years and 5 months;
her husband died in Germany previous to her emigration.
Balthasar Hoffman, son of Christopher Hoffman, came
to Pennsylvania in 1734, with his three children:
Anna.
Rosina.
Christopher, born in 1728.
Among the Schwenkfelders who arrived in Pennsylvania
in the year 1734, Balthasar Hoffman,(*) who settled
in Lower Salford Township, was one of the most eminent.
He was born in Harpersdorf, Principality of Liegnitz,
