Lutie S. Brooks
Lutie Sims Brooks, 95, of Manassas, formerly of Greene County, died Monday, May 24, 2004 in Manassas.
She was born August 26, 1908 in Greene County, daughter of the late Benjamin Leake Sims and Florence May Femeybough Sims and wife of the late Lloyd Ashton Brooks.
Mrs. Brooks retired in April, 1973 from the Pentagon as a telephone operator.
She is survived by one son, Robert Ashton Brooks and wife, Grace of Manassas; two granddaughters, Katherine Marie Frederich of Pennington, N.J. and Karen Lee Mrak of Woodbridge; four great-grandchildren, Joy and Bethany Frederich and Daniel and Robert Mrak.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison conducted by Dr. Tommy Palmer.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a children's charity of your choice.
