Steamer VALLEY BELLE with Bryant Showboat, date is unknown but the location is Cincinnatti, OH.   Picture of Bryant Showboat listed as being taken at Elizabeth, PA. The location might be West Elizabeth as this is where the boat tied up during the winter for several years. The date given of November 14, 1928 must be date of story line and not when the photo was taken because of the appearance of leaves on the trees indicating spring or summer weather also the dress of individuals shown is light weight.  On back of previous photo is story to be published with the photo.

The Steamer VALLEY BELLE was built in 1883 and ran as a Packet Boat until 1917 when she became a Towboat.  She was sold in 1919 to Billy Bryant and towed the Bryant Showboat into 1939 when she was traded to a new owner.
