Obituary* | 10 October 2015 | Cary,North Carolina - Alwyn "Al" Hume Culpepper, 85 of Cary, North Carolina passed peacefully at his residence on Wed, October 7, 2015. Born March 1,1930 in Portsmouth, Virginia. While in Germany in the Army, he met the love of his life, Gretal. Al's pride and joy were his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Audrey Culpepper and sister in law Pattie Culpepper. Surviving family members include wife, Margareta (Gretal)Culpepper, brother Tommy Culpepper and spouse Dale, sister Lynnette and spouse Dennis, daughter Monica Holmes, daughter Sandy Culpepper and spouse Glynis, daughter Linda Culpepper and partner Edwin. Grandchildren Chris Holmes and spouse Lisa, Lee Page and partner Tracy, Tiffani Woodlief and spouse Ken, Alexis Nowell, and Jessica Reese and spouse Steve. Great grandchildren Bailey, Chase, Braxton, Gabe, Zoe, Jacob, Kaleb, Mason, Logan, and Madelyn. Memorial service will be held on Mon, Oct. 12th, 2015, at 2:00 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary . .3 |
