Passes Away
EDINBURG Dec. 2, Ralph Weirman Stoneburner Jr., 37, son of Dr. and Mrs. Stoneburner, died in Shenandoah Memorial Hospital Sunday morning. He had been ill for some time.
Mr. Stoneburner, an electrical engineer, had resided in Alexandria for some years. He was an engineer for the Corvev Electrical Co.. of Alexandria. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and of the Potomac River Power Squadron, He was a past president of the New Alexandria Citizens League.
A graduate of Edinburg High Schoolm Mr. Stoneburner received his degree from Randolph-Macon College.
He was united in marriage with Miss Carrie Little of Zanesville, Ohio, who survives. He is also survived by a brother, Thurston K. Stoneburner of Edinburg and a sister Mrs. Harold Shore, of Media, Pa.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from St. John's Methodist Church, the Rev. William W. Lockland Jr., and the Rev. B. W. Poe officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar wood cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Allen Lawson, Daniel Coughlin, Ben Zigler, Jack Zirkle, Hugh Hollar, William Getz, John Robert Irvin and Stanley Getz.
The body will be taken fom the Dellinger funeral home to the Dr. Stoneburner home Monday afternoon at five o'clock. The body will be taken to the church at 1:40.
