The following is her son's obit: Published in The Virginian-Pilot, (Norfolk, VA) - September 18, 2000 Steven Matthew Burnett , 22, died Sept. 17, 2000 in a local hospital. Born in Norfolk, he was a technician with Support Services for one and one-half years. Survivors include his mother, Anne S. Wilson and stepfather, Arthur G. Wilson Jr. of Virginia Beach; his father, Robert Glenn Burnett of Norfolk; a sister, Heather Anne Medford and her husband Jeffrey of Virginia Beach; a brother, Robert ''Scott'' Burnett of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Dorothy S. Jones and her husband Robert of Virginia Beach; paternal grandmother, Mildred S. Burnett of Virginia Beach; four uncles, Randy and Irene Sutton, Kendall and Shirley Sutton, James T. Sutton Jr., all of Virginia Beach, and Wayne and Barbara Burnett of Fredericksburg, Va. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thalia Trinity Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Fred McCall. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements.
