News/Obit | 9 May 2000 | John Calvin Graham John Calvin Graham, 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Salisbury, Pa. A resident for two years, he was a fire control technician, a Korean War and Vietnam War Navy veteran, past president, vice president and secretary of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife, Beverly J.; two sons, Larry Graham of Wilmington, N.C., and David W. Lewis of Vista, Calif.; one daughter, Cathy Shufelt of Euless, Texas; his mother, Norma Weimer Thomas of Somerset, Pa.; one sister, Katherine Maines of Williamson, N.Y.; one brother, Earl Thomas of Somerset, Pa.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation is scheduled 4-6 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will be private.
