He was a substitute (1, 3). He enlisted on 25 March 1865 (2, 9). He was enlisted for one year, at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, by Captain Lloyd (2). He was mustered into service as a private, on 26 March 1865, at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania (1, 3). He was a private in company C (1, 13, 14).
He mustered out with his company on 10 July 1865 (1, 4 [14 July 1865], 9). He was a private, in company C (13, 14).
He moved to Bellevue, Ohio, in autumn 1865 (4). Several weeks later he moved to Three Rivers, Michigan (4).
In March 1869, he moved from Three Rivers to Ottawa, Kansas (4).
On 31 December 1872, he married Annie S Todd (4, 7, 8). This was the first marriage for both of them (8). They had five children, all of whom were still alive in 1910 (4, 7, 8):

On 3 August 1891, he successfully applied for a pension from Kansas (9, 10).
Around 1896, he was a shoemaker (4). His family belonged to the Baptist Church (4).
In 1900, he was living in Ottawa Township, Ottawa County, Kansas (7). He was living with his wife Annie, and children Ethel, William, and Charles (7). He was a farmer (7).
On 7 August 1907, he again applied for a pension (9).
In 1910, he was living in Ottawa Township, Ottawa County, Kansas (8). He was living with his wife Annie, children Richard and Charley, and a hired man (8). He was a farmer (8).
He died on 24 April 1928, at Manchester, Kansas (9, 11). He was buried in White Cloud Cemetery, Manchester, Dickinson County, Kansas (11).
On 26 June 1928, his widow, Axie [?] Krisher, successfully applied for a pension from Kansas (9, 10).
In 1930, his widow, Axies Krisher, was living in Manchester City, Dickinson County, Kansas (12).
In 1945, his widow, Axie S Todd Krisher, died (11). She was buried in White Cloud Cemetery, Manchester, Dickinson County, Kansas (11).

Mr. Kreisher was born in Northumberland county, Pa., in 1810; died at Bellevue, Ohio, April 4, 1878.
The family moved to Bellevue in 1862.
Mr. Kreisher's occupation was a miller.
4. J. Calvin, was born at Freeburg, Pa., July 27, 1845; married Annie S. Todd, December 31, 1872, who was born in Washington county, Ohio, October 1, 1852. Mr. Kreisher left his native place in 1864, and located at Lewistown, Pa. He enlisted in the 91st Pa., V. I., was discharged at Philadelphia, July 14, 1865. In the Autumn of the same year he moved to Bellevue, Ohio, and in the course of several weeks emigrated to Three Rivers, Michigan. Here he remained until March 1869, when he located at Ottawa, Kansas. The family located at Abilene, Kansas, in the Spring of 1876. Mr. Kreisher is a shoemaker by trade. The family belong to the Baptist Church.
