In 1890, he was living in Pentwater Village, Oceana County, Michigan (3).

On 9 March 1892, he applied successfully from Michigan for a pension (4, 8).

In 1900, he was living in Oceana County, Michigan (6). He was living with his wife Emma (6). He was a salesman [?] (6).

In 1910, he was living at 45 Cass Avenue, in Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan (7). He was living with his wife Emma (7). He had no occupation (7).

On 7 [?] May 1911, he again applied for a pension (8).

He died on 26 October 1925, at Grand Rapids, Michigan (8).
