Bettie Eileen Markley was born on 29 January 1934 at
Berkeley Co., West Virginia. She was the daughter of
Lucy Ellen Markley. Bettie Eileen Markley died circa 1985. She was buried circa 1985 at
Tomahawk Presbyterian Cemetery. She was New Tag Obituary from an undated newspaper:

MARKLEY, BETTY EILEEN "SNITS," 51, of Rt. 4, Hedgesville, died Wednesday in City Hospital.
Born Jan. 29, 1934, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Brady and Lucy Markley Murphy.
She attended Back Creek Valley Full Gospel Church and was a seasonal employee of the Musselman Company and the Centinenel Fruit.
Surviving are her husband, Linwood L. Markley, at home; four sons, David and Kenny Markley, both of Hedgesville, Lary and Linville, Jr., both at home; three daughters, Ruthie Butts and Lisa D. Butts, both of Hedgeville, and Janet Miller, Inwood; two brothers, Richard Markley, Jerome, Va., and William Murphy, Hedgesville; a sister, Virginia Potter, Kearneysville; eight grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Rosedale Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lynnie Ambrose officiating. Burial in the Tomahawk Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday, 7-9 p.m."
