David II (?) was born on 5 March 1324 at
Dunfermline Palace. He was the son of
King of Scotland Robert I Bruce and
Elizabeth de Burgh. David II (?) married
Joanna of the Tower (?), daughter of
King of England Edward II (?) and
Isabella de France, on 17 July 1328 at
Berwick. Upon the death of his father, Robert the Bruce, David was crowned King of Scotland even though he was only five years old at the time. David ruled until August 1332 when he was deposed when Edward Balliol defeated David's forces. David was restored to the throne 3 months later on 16 December 1332 and ruled until March 1333 when Edward III of England invaded Scotland and defeating all opposition at Halidon Hill on 19 July 1333. David was removed to the court of Philippe VI of France for his own safety. David was restored to the throne in 1336 but remained in France until 1341 when he returned to Scotland. Margaret (?), daughter of
Sir Malcolm Drummond, on 13 February 1364 at
Inchmahome Priory, Aberfoyle. David II (?) and
Margaret (?) were divorced on 20 March 1370. David II (?) died on 22 February 1371 at
Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, at age 46. He was buried in February 1371 at
Holyrood Abbey, Scotland.

Cedarville Twp., Greene Co., Ohio, at North Cemetery. Deborah shares a common tombstone with her 1st husband, Levi Haines and is buried next to two of her children by Joseph Rakestraw in North Cemetery which is just north of Cedarville, Ohio on State Road 72..
