There appears to have been a problem dividing Jacob's (Senior) estate.9 Millslagle-Jacob, 1858 Estate Jacob, age 30, was enumerated in the household of his mother on the 1850 Federal Census in District #24, Hampshire County, Virginia.10 Jacob worked as a farmer.           Jacob married Margaret (?) between 1852 and 1854 in Hampshire Co.1 Jacob and Margaret had 3 children. These children are Mary Jane, Edward and Flora Belle.1
          Jacob, age 43, and Margaret, age 26, were enumerated on the 1860 Federal Census in Smith's Gap, Hampshire County, Virginia. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Mary (age 7) and Edward (age 4).11 Jacob worked as a farmer.           Jacob, age 52, and Margaret, age 38, were enumerated on the 1870 Federal Census for the Romney Post Office in Sherman Township, Hampshire County, Virginia. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Mary (age 17), Edward (age 15), and Florence (age 5).2 Jacob worked as a farmer.           Jacob, age 60, and Margaret, age 44, were enumerated on the 1880 Federal Census in Sherman Magisterial District, Hampshire County, West Virginia.           Jacob died in 1882 in Hampshire County, West Virginia.1 He was 65 years old. He is the grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
