James Pennington was born say 1805.1
James married Hannah Millslagle, daughter of Johann Jacob Mühlschlägel and Elizabeth Cooper, on 14 May 1825 in Hampshire County, Virginia. Hannah was about 27 years old; his age is not known.2
James and Hannah sold their land circa 1839 to Samuel Millslagle. They sold two tracts of land totaling 282 acres ". . .with the exception of one acre, being the same on which the Concord Meeting House stands. . ."3
James and Hannah moved "to the West" but where exactly, I do not know.3
James and Hannah moved back to Hampshire Co sometime before September 1843.3
He was about 38 years old.
James died in 1843 in the early fall in Hampshire Co.3
