He giveth his beloved rest
How sweet the words of inspireation
How much rest is needed
Rest for weary feet, toiling hands,
Acheing head and troubled heart.
How sweet how refreshing the rest of the soul as it dwells in the presence of Christ. Of all the thoughts of God there are,
Born inward into Souls afar;
Now tell me if there any is
For gifts of grace surpassing best
He giveth his beloved rest.
Rest on Sister rest on in the home of the soul.
We do not wish thee back to earth
A few more passing days

Then we shall meet to rest so sweete
