Just before John Richard Fletcher Paylor took sick he bought a pair of
boots. He danced and kicked around like a little kid. He had never
acted
like that before. He made all the shoes for the family and tanned the
leather and used wooden pegs. He built a house using a hammer, saw,
and
drawing knife. This house was never finished upstairs. There was a
fireplace at both ends and all their children were born in this house.

Judge in Pittsburgh Township in Johnson Co. Ark. in or around
the year's 1873 to 1879. Was a slave trader at the Piney
River Station. Slave were bought in New Oleans shipped up the
Mississippi River to the Arkansas River to the Piney River
Station. People can for hundreds of miles to buy a slave for
Richard Paylor and his partner's Mr. Carzort and a Mr.
Zachary.

Buried on the old family farm in Lamar Arkansas
Farm was located west of town form the old Blue Stone Bank

He Taught school at the Presbyterian College near Lamar (now
gone).

carried back to enemy at Charles town and was by them carried
