'Harry D. Gill, Sr, 92, of State College, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.He was born December 26, 1920, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Harry Clyde and Julia C. Womer Gill. He was married to the former Doris Horner on February 5, 1940, who preceded him in death March 13, 1999. On May 28, 1971, he married the former Barbara Jean Jenvey Gibboney who preceded him in death on May 25, 2002. After graduating from State College Area High School in 1939, he later served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Harry was employed at the State College Post Office, retiring as a Postal Clerk after thirty six years of service. He served as a manager of the Starlite Drive In Theatre State College for twelve years. Harry was a lifetime member of V. F. W. Post 321 and the American Legion both in State College, and the U. S. Postal Union.Surviving Mr. Gill are three daughters Donna G. Reish and husband Samuel of Pine Grove Mills who provided care for Harry for over three years; Catharine G. Hook and husband Ronald of Mechanicsburg, and Gloria G. Sendzik of Petersburg; one son Harry D. Gill, Jr. of Kirksville, NY; two step daughters, Dianne E. Flory of Bellefonte and Rebecca A. Mr. Gill was the last of his generation having been preceded in death by three sisters, Gertrude Gearhart, Mary Dennis, and Gladys Hess; and three brothers, Philbert, Michael, and Harold Gill.A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 8 p. m. Son of the late Alfred George and Julia Clarke, of Homeside, Wimbledon Common; husband of Dorothy Mabel Clarke. Died at Oak Lodge'.^{13,14,15,16,17,18} She was commemorated in the Civilian War Dead Roll of Honour, located near St. George's Chapel in Westminster Abbey, London with Sydney Alfred Clarke.^19,20

      Kathleen Agnes (?) also went by the name of Kitty (?).² Her married name was Shearn.¹ She was born circa 1910.^1,3 She married Erroll David Schonstadt, son of Moritz Henry Schonstadt and Elizabeth Davis, before 11 February 1942.^1,4 Kathleen Agnes (?) and Erroll David Schonstadt were recorded during World War II by Gordon Stanley Reis in his Prisoner of War Diary on 10 May 1942 as follows: 'I saw Erroll and Kitty Shearn outside the Adelphi Hotel on 11th February — so Kitty had not cleared out about mid-day'. The Imperial War Museum contains a copy of his war memoirs.^4,5
