" Thomas Henry, according to writer, may have been twice
married. First, to a Judith, who's last name may have been
Dudley, or may have been Claiborne. Mary Barksdale was a child
of this marriage. It is said Thomas Henry married a Judith
Bevely as his second wife (But there is no proof of this, merely
speculation, which is intuitively obvious, I suppose). His will
mentions five children from his first marriage to whom he leaves
ten shillings each, and Mary Lindsay is one of those five
children. The will is dated Feb. 14th, 1778."
Mary's father was Henry Barksdale; his will was proven in Henry
County on 12 May 1788.

The Mabel Trott Fitzsimons' McCants notes, SC Hist. Soc.: James
McCants married Agnes McKnealy 1740, next Martha Jackson, next
Agnes Donnald.
He was married 1740 to Agnes DONNALLY and there were six
children. His second marriage in 1761 was to Martha JACKSON,
widow of William Jackson; no children are mentioned and no
children born to James and Martha. He was married a third time
to Agnes MUNNERLYN d. 1782. James McCants' will left all
property to Agnes and beloved son James.
James the son of Agnes Munnerlyn in Rev War, but was not living
in 1790, according to census.
TheDeHay book describes James wives, the 1st as Agnes DONNALLY
mother of all children; 2nd Martha JACKSON, no children; and
last Agnes MUNNERLYN.
Webber Collection shows James McCants of Pr. Fred., Wmbg married
Agnes Monalin in 1740; James, son of David, b 1719 d 1772, J. P.
Craven married (1) Agnes Monneally, (2) Martha Jackson before
Jun 1761, (3) Agnes Donally in 1770. M'Kants--James McKants and
Agnes Moneally married July ye 1st 1740.
