Dies Near Highmount
Highmount, March 27 - David L. Dellinger, husband of Mrs. Malinda Greenewalt Dellinger, died suddenly at 2:10 o'clock this morning in the kitchen of his home, York R.D. 5, near this place, from a heat attack. He was in his wife's arms when he expired. Mr. Dellinger who was aged 67 years, had been in ill health for the past year. Coroner L.U. Zech was called and issued the death certificate, giving chronic myocarditis as the cause. The deceased, son of Michael and Susan Frey Dellinger, had been a farmer for the past 45 years. He was born in Lower Windsor township, near East Prospect.
Surviving, besides the widow, are two daughters, Mrs. Emory Riedel, and Mrs. John Resh, and a grandaughter, Elsie Resh, all at home; one brother, Samuel Dellinger, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with brief services at the late home and further obsequies in Canadochly Reformed church. Rev. Wayne A. Lutz, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Henry F. Burg, funeral director of East Prospect."

Dellinger, husband of Mrs. Malinda Greenewalt Dellinger, who died Thursday morning at his home, York R.D. 5, near this place, where conducted this afternoon. Brief rites were conducted at the late home and further obsequies were held in Canadochly Reformed church. Rev. Wayne Lutz, pastor, officiated. The pallbearers, all nephews of the deceased, were: Henry Gauss, Ira Keller, Frank and Edward Dellinger, John Dietz and John Greenewalt. The choir of Canadochly church sang three selections, "Nearer, My God, To Thee", "Jesus, Lover Of My Soul' and "Rock Of Ages." Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining that church."
