     Earl of Leicester. In 1253 Edmund was invested by the Pope in the Kingdom of Sicily and Apulia, at about this time he was also made Earl of Chester. These were of little value as the real King of Sicily was still living and the Earldom of Chester was transferred to his older brother Edward. He soon obtained, however, both possessions and dignities, for upon the forfeiture of Siomn de Montfort by the King of the Earldom of Leicester and also the honor of the Stewardship of England and the lands of Nicolas de Segrave. Edmund was born at London, London, England, on 16 January 1245. He was the son of Henry III (?) King of England and Eleanor of Provence Berenger. Edmund Crouchback Leicester Plantagenet married Aveline de Forz on 9 April 1269 at Westminster Abbey, London, England. He married Blanche of Artois (?) at Paris, France, before February 1276. Edmund died on 5 June 1296 at Bayonne, France, at age 51. His body was interred in June 1296 at London, England, at Westminister Abbey.

King of England Edward Plantagenet IV married Elizabeth Woodville, daughter of Sir Richard Woodville and Jacquetta (?), on 1 May 1464. King of England Edward Plantagenet IV died on 9 April 1483; Edward went fishing on a cold, damp day in March and contracted some kind of rapidly devastating illnes - likely pneumonia. It is also reported that Edward was poisoned by minions of the French king, Louis XI, who was also dying and saw the peril of having his minor son take the thrown and to have to fight a powerful English army. However if the English king died, that would then leave only Edward's twelve year son to rule England.

Prince Edward Plantagenet V (M)

     Prince Edward Plantagenet V was born on 2 November 1470 at Westminister Abbey, London, England. He was the son of King of England Edward Plantagenet IV and Elizabeth Woodville. According to William Shakespeare, Edward and his younger brother Richard where murdered by their uncle Richard, who then became Richard the Third. However the mystery of what really happened to the two young Princes still continues with some scholars believing that Richard killed them, and other scholars who think otherwise. There is even a certain following that states that the young Princes were not murdered, but rather spirted out of England to protect them from Henry VI.
