"1" - children: of Elizabeth Bennett: Thomas (1620) and Sarah (1624) - and
of Lydia: Jonathan (1618), Thomas (1620), Ezekiel (1622), Sarah (1624), and Obadiah (1630)

"2" - parents: Richard Gilbert and Margery Morken; grandparents: Giles Gilbert and Joan Pearce; no Morkens

"2" - children: of Elizabeth Bennett: Thomas (1612), Jonathan (1618), Ezekiel (1622), Sarah (1624), John (1626), Josiah (1628), Obadiah (1630) - and

Thomas was 18 at the date of the Elizabeth Bennett marriage and 26 at the Lydia Gilbert marriage.

It seems reasonable that Thomas (1612), Jonathan (1618), Thomas (1620), Ezekiel (1622), Sarah (1624), Obadiah (1630) are the same person. That leaves John (1626) and Josiah (1628) as the only 'individual' children. These births are spaced in such a way that they could be the same family - but not with two mothers at the same time!!!

In addition - the marriages of 1610 (Elizabeth) and 1618 (Lydia) are the same on both postings. Therefore, Elizabeth COULD be Thomas's mother and Lydia, mother of the rest.

EXCEPT - both postings show Elizabeth's death in 1659 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. (and Lydia's in 1654 or 1655 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.

Research: Did Thomas and Elizabeth divorce? Is Elizabeth's date of death incorrect? Are these two different couples with remarkable similar birthing and naming trends?
