     Charles Noble (McBurnie) McBirnie, son of Alexander (McBurney) McBirnie and Elizabeth Noble, was born on 27 May 1891 at District of Buckhorn, Fife, Scotland.1 Charles Noble (McBurnie) McBirnie served as a private in the Black Watch (Royal Highlanders). He died in World War I. He married Grace Kirkwood Phillips on 26 March 1918 at Inveresk and Musselburgh District, Midlothian, Scotland. Charles Noble (McBurnie) McBirnie died on 18 April 1918 at age 26.
