Biography* Hubard built a home in the Ocean View section of Norfolk and he and Gladys lived there until his death in 1960. Gladys lived there until her death in 1977.
     Hubard worked for the City of Norfolk for a period of time but at the beginning of World War II he managed a photo/blue printing company in downtown Norfolk (Acme Photo Co.) and later he bought the company with his Brother-in-law, William U. McTague, and operated this company until his death.
     Hubard had a distinctive eye condition which is hereditary and causes the eyelid to droop.
