COL. WALLACE'S REGIMENT.--The recruiting for this regiment is progressing rapidly. The camp of the regiment is Camp Edwards, on Islington lane, opposite the Odd Fellows' Cemetery. These grounds are well situated, and afford every facility for drill. Colonel ED E WALLACE and Lieutenant-Colonel GEO W. TODD both served with distinction in the Mexican war, and also during the three months service.
