"Henry Sackett of Atlanta passed away at the home ofhis daughter, Mrs. Eula Harrington, on South Rollins streed last night at 12:30 o'clock. He was 78 years and 10 days old.
Mr. Sackett was born March 16, 1856, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Sackett, who preceded him in death. He was married to Sarah Bailey in 1887. To this union one daughter, Mrs. Harrington, was born. Mrs Sackett passed away in 1888. Ten years later he was married to Mary Rutter, who with his daughter, three grandchildren and one great grandchild survive.
Mr. Sackett was a resident of Atlanta, where he was known as "Uncle Henry." He had been with his daughter since Christmas.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ten Mile Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will be in the Ten Mile Cemetery. ..."

Benjamin H. (Ben) Sackett, 56, died at his home at 307 North Tewnty-fifth street at 12:35 p.m. Thursday following a month's illness caused by a heart ailment.
He was born Aug. 24, 1888, in Macon County, Mo., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sackett. In 1905 he moved to Billings and on July 29, 1914 was married to Pearl Foster. He resided here until 1941, when he went to Columbia, Ml., to operate a service station, store and cafe. Mr. Sackett returned to Billings in 1944 and was employed as a postal clerk until the time of his death.
Survivors include his widow; a brother James Sackett of 2316 Fourth avenue north, and two sisters, Mrs. L. V. Highhouse of 4024 Second avenue south and Mrs. O. R. Lyda of Topeka, Kan. ..."

L. Marion Wells - Farming and stock raising are an important source of income to the citizens of Sangamon county and in this broad land there are no richer fields or finer farms that are here found. Mr. Wells is actively connected with farming interests and has about two hundred acres of land on section 27, Salisbury township, a part of the old Wells estate. He was born in this county, February 28, 1854, his father being J. H. Wells, whose birth occurred in 1834. ...
L. Marion Wells is one of a family of two sons and three daughters, his brother being Richard, who is married and resides on the old homestead with his brother. The sisters are Harriet, the wife of A. B. Hohimer, a farmer of Chatham; Mary, the wife of George Curren* of Salisbury; and Lelia, the wife of Marshall Grider, of Cartwright township.
The usual experiences of a farmer boy's life were those of L. Marion Wells in his youth. He worked in the fields as age and strength permitted and in the home school was educated. He continued to carry on the home farm until he had attained his majority, after which he was married and established a home of his own in Fardner township, Sangamon county. In November, 1876, he wedded Miss Rosa Curren, who was reared and educated in Gardner township. After his marriage in 1881 he located where he now resides and has since been successfully engaged in farming and in the further improvement of his place. He now has a well developed property with good buildings, highly cultivated fields and good grades of stock.
Unto Mrs. and Mrs. Wells have been born the following children: John H., Letha, Ada, Elmer, Floy and Charles, twins, Lelia and Leonard. Politically Mr. Wells is an earnest Democrat and cast his first presidential ballot for Samuel J. Tilden in 1876. He has been a resident of this county throughout his entire life and has witnessed great changes. He has seen timber and brush cleared away, while cities and towns have been built and the work of progress and improvement has been carried forward until Sangamon county ranks with any county in this great Union in the advantages which it affords to its citizens.

Margaret Liimpus was born December 9, 1838. She was the first child of Jonathan and Elizabeth Limpus. She wass named after her grandmother, Margaret Caffey. She married Ephraim Ormsbee in 1861. they had one known child, William. William was raised by his grandmother and his uncle, George M. Limpus. Margaret and Ephraim's marriage did not last. She remarried and moved to Oregon. Her husband didn't want to raise William when he was small. When he was of an age to work on the farm, Margaret's husband was willing to take hiim in but William declined the kindness. Margaret died on January 9, 1895. Stroke Fatal to Mrs. FredericksonMrs. Sadie J. Frederickson 84, died in her home, 212 East Washington Street, at 3:05 a.m. Thursday. She suffered a paralytic stroke October 9, and a second stroke at 4 p.m. Wednesday, from which she never rallied.
She was born at Freeport, Illinois, October 27, 1860, a daughter of Reuben and Eliza Sackett and came to Clinton with her parents when she was one year old, locating in the home where she died. She was married in 1881 to Erasmus Frederickson of Champaign and the first 46 years of their married life were spent in Champaign, where Mr. Frederickson was a traveling salesman. They then moved to Clinton. He died in 1911.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Foard, with whom she made her home; one sister, Mrs Rose Day, Clinton, and grandson Frederick Foard.
Mrs. Frederickson was a member of the Clinton Methodist church and Eastern Star lodge. The body was taken to Pullen's Funeral Chapel. (died 10-18-1945. - Laurie Young)

Died in OklahomaEllis Day received a message Monday announcing the death of his brother-in-law E. Frederickson which occured at Enid, Oklahoma. The cause of death was consumption from which (the) deceased had been a sufferer for several years. Mr. Frederickscn, who formerly lived at Champaign, was well known to Clinton people.
Deceased was 54 years of age. He was born at Hackensack N. J. and came west at an early period. In February 1886 he was united in marriage to Miss Sadie Sackett. She survives him, as does a daughter, Ruby. The deceased was a member of the M.E. church and a Mason.Remains were taken to Champaign, where burial services were held Wednesday.

Mrs. Holmes was a sufferer from Bright's disease, and cme to her father's to enjoy a visit and at the same time hoped that the change would benefit her health. Such was not the case however, and as she was failing her husband was sent for, and she quietley passed away yesterday. She leaves four children, one a little girl was with her and the three others are in New York. She was a sister of Mrs. J. G. Gill, and her husband was a business man with large interests at his home.
The funeral services were held at the M. E. church at two o'clock this afternoon, conducted by the Pastor, and the remains were interred in Highland Cemetery.
