Franklin Benjamin "Frank" Dellinger and
Emma Jane Roth. Arvilla Ida Dellinger married
Charles Henry Franklin Sharp, son of
William Sharp, on 26 May 1928; Wedding announcement from a 28 May 1928 York newspaper:
"CHARLES SHARP WEDS ARVILLA DELLINGER
Charles Henry Franklin Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sharp, 132 Freys avenue, and Miss Arvilla Dellinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin B. Dellinger, of Wrightsville, were married at 4 o'clock Saturday evening at the parsonage of Bethany Moravian church, 800 East Princess street. The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. Theodore Reineke. Mrs. Franklin H. Dellinger and William Sharp were present at the ceremony."

York Hospital, York, York Co., Pennsylvania. She was New Tag Obituary from a 1 November 1937 York newspaper:
"Mrs. Roy E. Lightner
Mrs. Arvilla M. (Dellinger) Lightner, wife of Roy E. Lightner, 310 North Hartley street, died at 3:47 o'clock yesterday morning at the York Hospital, where she had been a patient the past two weeks. Death was caused by peritonitis, following an operation. The deceased was aged thirty-three years and was a member of Grace Reformed church. Surviving besides the husband are two children, Mamie Katherine and Roy E., Jr., both at home. Her step-mother, Mrs. Naomi Lindsey, and these brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Franklin Houseal, Mrs. Harry Noel and Stewart Dellinger, York; Hollie Dellinger, Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Earl Senft, York. The funeral will be held Wednesday, with services at the late home at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Zion cemetery. The body was removed to the funeral home of Guy B. Creep, 849 East Market street to be prepared for burial."
