Michael was born at Kentucky circa 1801. He was the son of Frederick Stipp and Mary Polly Clinkenbeard. He married Jemima Grimes on 22 September 1822. Michael died on 20 August 1863 at Moberly, Randolph Co., Missouri. His body was interred in August 1863 at Randolph Co., Missouri. Michael is buried on the old Stipp farm near Moberly, MO. The farm was owned in 1980 by the Miller family and the old two story house still was standing. Directions to the old cemetery, as given by Isaac W. Stipp: starting at the Municipal Bldg. in Moberly, go to the East edge of town, cross Highway 63 by-pass to the blacktop road. Follow this for about 6 miles. At the end of the blacktop road is a gravel road running north and south. Turn left and go to the first house on the right. Just beyond the house is a gate into a pasture. The house is on high ground and to the left is a field, at the west end of the field is a gate and on the edge of the field is a fence. Follow the fence south to the burial ground..
