My g/mother, Lydia Sumsion was from the Sumsion Clan. She was born in
31 Dec 1863, oldest daughter of Charles Sumsion & Eliza Ellen Bond.
They had seven other children. The family immigrated in 1874 on the
"Star of Bengal" to Melbourne and then lived in Melbourne for 4 years,
Adelaide for 17 years and Broken Hill for 6 years where my g/mother died and was
buried in the Broken Hill Cemetery. I have only recently purchased her
death certificate.
