   Ethel Fattig Collection:
   Anna Mariah Walter married first a cousin of Peter Runkle her secondhusband. Her first husband, Emanuel Runkle died. She and Emanuel hadthree sons that all died in infancy or very young.
   
   Anna Mariah was fairly tall and slender. She was neat and "dressy". Shealways wore a beaded velvet band around her head and her hair wascarefully waved or "Peaked", parted in the middle. Her eyes were blueand rather deep set. The family lived on a 40 acre farm near northManchester, Indiana where every acre was cared for and producedabundantly. Peter being a good blacksmith and carpenter everything aboutthe place was kept as neat as possible.
   
   Anna Mariah Walter had a sister who married a Vorkman and lived nearWarrensburg, MO.
   Another sister, Ella Bailey who lived near Eldorado Springs, MO.
   Peter's brother Eli Runkle lived northeaast of Hamilton, MO.
