Sturgis, Meade Co., South Dakota, USA, at Black Hills National Cemetery. MANDERSON - Theodore Tibbitts, 85, Manderson, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2002, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Tibbitts, Manderson; three sons, Alwin Tibbitts, Hot Springs, William Tibbitts, Washington, D.C., and Donnie Tibbitts, Manderson; three sisters, Eileen Jelovich, Aberdeen, Wash., Eleanor Jelovich, Hoquiam, Wash., and Bea McLaughlin, Showlow, Ariz; and four grandchildren.
A wake service will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Mother Butler Center, with the Rev.. Pat McCorkell S.J. officiating. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with full military honors.
Kirk Funeral Home of Rapid City is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established to the Holy Rosary Mission..
