William "Big Bill" HURST

1778 - 15 Dec 1860

ID Number: I91646

  • RESIDENCE: Shenahdoah and Bedford and Montgomery (Wythe) Co. VA
  • BIRTH: 1778, Shenahdoah Co. Virginia
  • DEATH: 15 Dec 1860, Wythe Co. Virginia
  • RESOURCES: See: [S3400]
Father: Absolem HURST

Family 1 : Mildred WHITLOCK
  1. +Allen Whitlock HURST

Notes

"This is just one of quite a few Hurst connections to these families, which are too intricate to explain in one email. The Hursts are everywhere in the records of Thomas Whitlock in VA. From information I have, Wm. was son of Absalom and Elizabeth Hurst. Don't know precisely how he connects to the John mentioned below, but I have no doubt he does, since they're in the same part of VA at the same time. Whether this ties the Wm. Lindsey of the email together with my Lindseys, can't say for sure, but it is certainly interesting that both connect to the same Hurst family."
