"I am very interested in the information you have on Mary
Martin, the daughter of my ggg-grandfather, Andrew Martin. I
corresponded with Betty Casey (source S153) in 1997, comparing
information she had on her husband's Bonner/Martin line and I
gave her the name Andrew P. Martin.
I was a novice researcher back then (and I am still learning!)
and did not have source documentation for much of the
information I had gathered. As I have tried to improve my
files, I have gone back, trying to locate and list my sources.
I have no idea where I got that middle initial, and have not yet
found a source with the middle initial P. for Andrew. Since I
would not want to lead other researchers astray, I would like to
ask you to remove the middle initial P. from Andrew's name,
unless, of course, you have found a source with that initial.
If you have, I would very much like to know what you have found.
I have tried to contact Betty Casey to make sure she had not
discovered a source with that initial, but, based on information
I found online, I suspect Betty may be deceased. I will keep
searching, and if am able, at a later date, to give you a source
on an initial, I will contact you.
I would greatly appreciate your help in keeping our family
genealogy as error free, as possible."
