Kerber was a punch press operator at Delbar Products, Perkasie, for 23 years before retiring in 1981.
Born in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Charles J. and Eva (Detweiler) Kerber.
He was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Perkasie.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Born in Lower Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Mabel (Pearson) Seifert. She worked as a seamstress for the former Casco Co. for more than 20 years. She was a member of Saucon Valley Bible Fellowship Church, Hellertown, and was a former member of the 60+ Club, Hellertown.
Survivors: Gladys is survived by daughters, Nancy Riegel of Bethlehem and Janice, wife of Rodney Kish, of Hellertown; son, Lee and his wife, Cindy, with whom she resided; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren;brother, Carl Pearson of Wassergass. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary, who died in 1987.

BRADNER - Harry E. Harpster, 76, died Wednesday (Jan. 14, 1998) at his home.
He retired from Jeep Corp. in 1984 as a powerhouse mechanic. For more than 40 years he also operated the Harry E. Harpster Drilling Co., now Bradner Oil Co., which drilled oil and water wells throughout Northwest Ohio.
He was a 1939 graduate of Bradner High School. He served in the merchant marines during World war II, from 1942 to 1947. He was discharged as a lietenant having served in the Atlantic and Middle East theaters of operation.
Harpster was a member of Bradner United Methodist Church and the Albert Bowe American Legion No. 338.
He was born Jan. 9, 1922 in Bradner to Claude and Laura (Sloyer). He married Anna May O'Connell Oct. 27, 1950 in Bradner. She died Oct. 12, 1972. He later married Norma Jean Fisher March 17, 1979 in Bradner. She survives.
He is also survived by a son, Robert Lee, and a daughter, Robin Lynn Szymanski, both of Wayne; two grandchildren; three step-grandchidren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brandt Funeral Home, Wayne, with burial in Bradner Cemetery, Rev. Roy Howell will officiate.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, or donor's choice.

Lenore C. Oberhommert, 87, of South Gibson St., Gibsonburg, died early Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital. She was ill four days and was a patient at Gibsonburg Health Care Center.

She was born near Rollersville to Charles and Christine (Sloyer) Gerwin. She married Fred "Fritz" Oberhommert on Sept. 3, 1937, at Solomon Lutheran Church in Woodville. He died on Dec. 8, 1968.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg.

Surviving are daughters Louise Oberhommert of Okinawa, Japan, Ruth Shreffler of Celina and Joy Oberhommert of Gibsonburg; sisters Naomi Fausey of Helena and Helen Jackson of Genoa; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Her parents, brothers Carl and Wilbur Gerwin and sister Rhra Stephens are deceased.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, where the body will lie in state from noon until the time of the service.

Burial will be at West Union Cemetery in Gibsonburg.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Nopper-Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg.

Memorials may be made to the church or Gibsonburg Library.

She was born in Gibsonburg to Charles and Catherine (Sloyer) Gerwin. On Nov. 25, 1928, she married Eli Fausey and he preceded her on March 1, 1985. Naomi was a homemaker and dedicated farm wife. She enjoyed working on the daily duties of the farm, including operating a roadside fruits and vegetables stand at her home in Tinney. In her later years, she lived for all of her grandchildren. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Helena, and its Ladies Aid Circle and the former Washington Chapel Ladies Aid Circle. Naomi was also a member of the Scott Scramblers Farm Bureau Council. Eli Martin Fausey

Helena - Eli Martin Fausey, 83, of 1424 County Road 58, died Friday following an illness of several months.

He was born Jan. 17, 1902 in Helena to Charles and Olive (Klotz) Fausey.

He was retired from the J.E. Baker Co.m and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Naomi; a son, Herbert, Lindsey; three daughters, Lois Beal, Fremont, Carol Eversole, fremont and Carlene Held, Lindsey; two brothers Ercell and Clifford, both of Fremont; a sister, Lucille Shaffer, Fremont; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call between 7 and 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday at Veh and Son Funeral Home, Gibsonburg.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Methodist Church in Helena, with the Rev. John Ash officiating, assisted by the Rev. Roger Kinney. Burial will be in Gibsonburg West Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Fremont Hospice or to Shiloh Methodist Church.

Carl Henry GERWIN, 79, of 3190 Napoleon Road, a retired farmer, died at his residence at 9:30 p.m. Sunday. He had been in failing health the last ten years. He retired from farming in 1980.

He was born in Gibsonburg, a son of Charles and Katie (SLOYER) GERWIN. He and Lucile I. BALSIZER were married March 29, 1941, at Grace Lutheran Church.

His wife survives along with two sons, Ronald and Edward, and a daughter, Kathleen BURMEISTER, all of Fremont. and four grandchildren. Three sisters also survive: Lenore OBERHOMMERT of Gibsonburg, Naomi FAUSEY of Helena, and Helen JACKSON, whose address was not available.

His parents, a brother, Wilbur, and a sister, Rhea STEPHENS, died previously.

Mr. GERWIN was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Sandusky County Farm Bureau.

The funeralwill be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul G. FUCHS officiating. Burial will be at Four Mile House Cemetery.

Visitation at the Karlovetz Mortuary will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

It was suggested that any memorials be to either Grace Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Lucile I. Gerwin, 85, of Napoleon Eoad, died Sunday at Bethesda Care Center.

She was born in Fremont to Henry L. and Amelia (Otermat) Balsizer and graduated from Ross High School in 1931. She married Carl H. Gerwin on March 29, 1941, at Grace Lutheran Church. He died in October 1990.

Mrs. Gerwin was a homemaker and a nurses aide at Diamond View Nursing Home.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the Women's Hope Missionary Circle, the Altar Guild and the Mother's Study Club.

She enjoyed quilting and raising flowers.

Surviving are daughter, Kathleen A. Burmeister and sons Ronald C. and Edward C., all of Fremont, four grandchildren and a great-grandson. Brother Glen Balsizer and an infant sister are deceased.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., today, Nopper-Karlovetz Mortuary.

Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, Grace Lutheran Church. The body will lie in state one hour before the services.

Burial: Four Mile House Cemetery.
