"JOSEPH D. DELLINGER DIES NEAR DELROY IN HIS 77TH YEAR
Delroy, March 11. - Joseph David Dellinger, retired farmer, living in Lower Windsor township, west of this place, died at 4:30 o'clock this morning from the effects of a paralytic stroke, which he suffered a week ago. The deceased was aged 76 years, six months and six days.
Mr. Dellinger was a member of the East Prospect Evangelical church, and fraternally was affilated ith Aurora council, No. 304, Junior Order of United American Mechanics and Winona council, No. 944, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, both of East Prospect.
His widow, Mrs. Ellen Dellinger, and a brother and a sister, Alfred Dellinger, York and Mrs. Catherine Zarfoss, York, are the only survivors.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock, at the Dellinger home. Further services will be held in the East Prospect Evangelical church after which burial will follow at Salem cemetery, Lower Windsor township. Rev. I.E. Spangler, East Prospect Evangelical minister, will officiate. Arrangements for the funeral are in charge of Funeral Director George W. Anstine, East Prospect."

Delroy, March 15 - On Saturday, funeral services were held over the body of Joseph David Dellinger, retired farmer, who died at his home in Lower Windsor township, west of this place, on Wednesday morning. After the services at the house, further services were held in the East Prospect Evangelical church. Rev. I.E. Spangler, pastor of the church, was the officiating minister. Interment was made in the Salem cemetery in Lower Windsor township. The pallbearers, three representatives of Aurora council, No. 944, I.O.O.F. were: John Gilbert, Jr., John Fitzkee and Clarence Leber, of the Jr. O.U.A.M. and George Leber, John Kise and Charles Able, of the I.O.O.F order."
