     Henrietta Dellinger was born on 8 August 1852 at Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John Dellinger and Leah Poff. Henrietta Dellinger married John C. Baldwin. Henrietta Dellinger married Lewis Haines. Henrietta Dellinger died on 25 December 1928 at Wrightsville, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 76. She was New Tag Obituary from a Dec. 1929 York Co. newspaper:

"PROMINENT IN CHURCH

Wrightsville, Dec. 25 - Mrs. Henrietta Haines, widow of Lewis Haines, a well known resident of this place, died at her home on Chesnut street at 5:20 a.m. today, from a complication of diseases which confined her to her home since August 9, 1927, when she suffered a stroke of paralysis and was unable to walk since that time. She was a daughter of the late John and Leah Dellinger, of town, and was one of the oldest members of the First Methodist Episcopal church. She was aged 76 years, four months and 17 days, and she is survived by the following children: John Baldwin and William H. Baldwin, both of Wrightsville, and Mrs. Sarah Stocktell, of Oakdale, California. Two step-daughters also survive, Mrs. Susan Harmon of York, and Mrs. Maggie Kreidler, Hallam, and eight sisters, Mrs. Henry Butcher, Birmingham, Ohio; Mrs. Amanda Gnau, Mrs. Norman Frey, Mrs. George Heidlebaugh and Miss Eliza Dellinger, all of York; Mrs. John W. Poff, Mrs. David F. Murray, all of Wrightsville. The funeral will be held from her home at 2 p.m. on Friday. Rev. John T. Williammee, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Burial at Fairview cemetery. Funeral Director Edward Etzweiler and Sons are in charge of the funeral."
In December 1928. She was buried on 28 December 1928 at Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville, York Co., Pennsylvania.

     Henry was born at Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, on 23 February 1777. He was the son of Jacob Dellinger and Christina Schaffer. He married Sophia Keller in 1796. Henry was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. Henry died on 18 December 1818 at York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 41. He was buried in December 1818 at Canadochly Cemetery, Lower Windsor Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania; His tombstone reads:

"Hier ruhet die gebeine von Heinrich Dellinger den 23ten Februarius 1777. Ist gestorben 18ten December 1818; hat sein alt gebracht auf 41 Jahr 9 monat und 25 tag." Upon Henry's death, his estate was administered at York Co., Pennsylvania, on 27 July 1822. Listed as deceased in his father's 1824 will. That will also lists Henry's children (John, Henry, Mary, Sally, Lena) as heirs.

OC/N$# 1/3/1820 York Co., Hist. Soc. Card, York Co.: A Henry Dellinger death, Estate 727, debts $3000, sale of land to meet bills. Peter Keller, Adm., sold land to Daniel Dellinger. The above Daniel is probably Henry's brother and my ancestor.

He was inducted into the military at York Co., Pennsylvania, on 24 August 1861. Henry served in the military at Winchester, Frederick Co., Virginia, on 13 June 1863. He was released from active duty at York Co., Pennsylvania, on 13 October 1864. He married Mary Gingerich at York, York Co., Pennsylvania, on 10 May 1866. Henry was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census at Springgarden Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania. Henry died on 12 February 1914 at 505 S. George St., York, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 76. His body was interred on 16 February 1914 at Springettsbury Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania, at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

He married Rebecca Bechtol at Tabor First Reformed Church, Lebanon, Lebanon Co., Pennsylvania, on 9 March 1837. He migrated in 1841. Received a land grant from the government. He cleared the land and took up farming.. He became Charles Dellinger's adoptive father. Henry died on 20 December 1891 at Superior Twp., Williams Co., Ohio, at age 79. He was buried in December 1891 at Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier, Williams Co., Ohio.
