Henrietta Dellinger was born on 8 August 1852 at
Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of
John Dellinger and
Leah Poff. Henrietta Dellinger married
John C. Baldwin. Henrietta Dellinger married
Lewis Haines. Henrietta Dellinger died on 25 December 1928 at
Wrightsville, York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 76. She was New Tag Obituary from a Dec. 1929 York Co. newspaper:
"PROMINENT IN CHURCH
Wrightsville, Dec. 25 - Mrs. Henrietta Haines, widow of Lewis Haines, a well known resident of this place, died at her home on Chesnut street at 5:20 a.m. today, from a complication of diseases which confined her to her home since August 9, 1927, when she suffered a stroke of paralysis and was unable to walk since that time. She was a daughter of the late John and Leah Dellinger, of town, and was one of the oldest members of the First Methodist Episcopal church. She was aged 76 years, four months and 17 days, and she is survived by the following children: John Baldwin and William H. Baldwin, both of Wrightsville, and Mrs. Sarah Stocktell, of Oakdale, California. Two step-daughters also survive, Mrs. Susan Harmon of York, and Mrs. Maggie Kreidler, Hallam, and eight sisters, Mrs. Henry Butcher, Birmingham, Ohio; Mrs. Amanda Gnau, Mrs. Norman Frey, Mrs. George Heidlebaugh and Miss Eliza Dellinger, all of York; Mrs. John W. Poff, Mrs. David F. Murray, all of Wrightsville. The funeral will be held from her home at 2 p.m. on Friday. Rev. John T. Williammee, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Burial at Fairview cemetery. Funeral Director Edward Etzweiler and Sons are in charge of the funeral."
