She and her second husband, Geoffrey, captured Normandy and in 1152 the Treaty of Wallingford recognized Henry as Stephen's heir. Queen of England Matilda the Empress (?) was born circa 1103 at Winchester, England. She was the daughter of King of England Henry I Beauclerc and Matilda of Scotland (?). Queen of England Matilda the Empress (?) married Holy Roman Emperor Henry V of Germany (?) on 7 January 1114 at Mainz, Germany. Queen of England Matilda the Empress (?) married Count of Anjou and Maine Geoffrey V the Fair Plantagenet, son of Count of Anjou Fulk V (?) and Ermengard of Maine (?), on 3 April 1127 at Le Mans Cathedral, Le Mans, Anjou, France.
