Do
you have UHS memorabilia sitting around you'd like to get rid of? We'd like to facilitate getting unwanted Jordannus yearbooks into the hands of people who never had one or have lost the one they had a long time ago. Further, the IU Archives is interested in obtaining items related to UHS. This announcement is being included with the ASR mailing in July. UNIVERSITY SCHOOL ALUMNI The University Archives is soliciting donations of University School materials for its permanent collections and possible use in the University School exhibit on display from October 3, 2011 through January 2012. The types of material they are looking for include, but are not limited to: Photographs, Scrapbooks, Uniforms, Class Cords (pants and skirts), Yearbooks, Diaries and/or Journals, and all other publications and memorabilia. Should you have any materials you wish to donate, please contact: Brad Cook at the Indiana University Archives. His phone number is 812-855-4495, and his email is: [email protected] |
Committee
first met 9/20/2010 at Carol Hanna's home. Committee met again the
first week in May to change the date from that which was originally selected. Blame it all on IU and Big 10 Football. The addition of Nebraska to the conference created scheduling changes, including making Oct 25 into IU's Homecoming. The Committee will meet July 11 (changed to July 18) for an envelope stuffing party - getting approximately 2900 letters ready to go out to alumni, faculty and friends. If you don't get one, come back here to download a copy of the letter and reservation form. |
