Clinton was born at
York Co., Pennsylvania, on 8 February 1857. He was the son of
John S. Dellinger and
Lucy Anna Thomas. He married
Ellen Brenneman at

DALLASTOWN, DIES
FOLLOWING STROKE
Dallastown, Nov. 8 - Clinton F. Dellinger, retired farmer, died at 4:45 o'clock this morning at his home on Franklin street extended, this place. Death resulted from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy suffered nine days ago. He was aged 77 years and nine months. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ellen Dellinger; three sons, George, McKinley and Theodore, all of this place; three daughters, Mrs. Nettie Bupp, York Manor; Mrs. Mazie Ness, York; and Mrs. Lottie Hess, HIarelys: two step-children, Mrs. Rosie Raffenberger, York township; and James Rohrbaugh; two broters, W.L. Dellinger, Lancaster; Franklin Dellinger, York; and three sisters, Mrs. Frances Boyer, Emigsville; Mrs. Laura Boyer and Mrs. Lillie Markel, York. The funeral will be held Sunday with services at the house at 2 p.m. Rev. S.L. Hench, pastor of the Christ Lutheran church, this place, will officiate. Interment will be made in Union cemetery, here. Funeral Director Purd A. Riedel, this place, has charge of funeral arrangements."

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at his late residence on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. Interment in Union cemetery, Dallastown.
Body may be viewed Saturday evening from 7 to 9."
On 8 November 1934. Clinton died on 8 November 1934 at
York Co., Pennsylvania, at age 77. His body was interred in November 1934 at

Dallastown, Nov. 11 - The funeral of Clinton F. Dellinger, a retired farmer, who died Thursday at his home on Franklin street extended place, was held today. Services were conducted at the house at 2 p.m. by Rev. S.L. Hench, pastor of Christ Lutheran church. The pallbearers were: George, McKinley and Theodore Dellinger, sons of the deceased man, and John A. Bupp, George Hess and Stewart Ness, sons-in-law. Interment took place in the local Union cemetery."
