  • John Kimball died before 15 April 1721; (will probated).
  • He lived at Boxford, Massachusetts as early as 1669. He is often referred to as Corporal Kimball in early records. In 1675 he was tax collector. In 1711 his name, along with those of his sons, are found on the tax list. He was a member of the church at Topsfield and was dismissed to the church at Boxford in 1702.1
  • His will was dated on 19 February 1718 probated 15 Apr 1721 (on file at Salem, Mass.).1

John Kimball1

  • John Kimball was born on 14 October 1675 at Rowley, Massachusetts.2
  • He was an infant when taken into captivity with his mother by the Indians. He removed to Piscataquis, in the province of East Jersey (Piscataway, New Jersey). While there, Nov. 17, 1702, he deeded to his brother, Capt. Richard Kimball of Bradford (Mass.), all that land that was set off to him from his father's estate.3
