     William Daborn was christened on 2 January 1789 at St Lawrence, Chobham, Surrey, England.^1,2 He was the son of William Daborn and Ann Burchett.¹ William Daborn married Sarah Chennell on 19 August 1813 at St Lawrence, Chobham, Surrey, England.² William Daborn appeared on the census of 30 March 1851 at Chobham, Surrey, England, as age 62, birthplace Chobham, Surrey.³ He died on 20 April 1867 at Surrey, England, at age 78; and his death was recorded at Chertsey record office in the June quarter 1867.^4,5 He was buried on 26 April 1867 at St Mary The Virgin, Horsell, Surrey, England.⁶ His estate was probated on 10 May 1867; 'Letter of Administration of the Personal estate and effect of William Daborn late of Chobham in the County of Surrey Farmer a Widower deceased who died 20 April 1867 at Chobham aforesaid were granted at the Principal Registry to Sarah Fladgate (Wife of James Fladgate) of Chobham aforesaid the Daughter and only Next of Kin of the said deceased she having been first sworn.⁵'
